This post contains pictures for the week ending August 3, 2014.  This home is unique in the sense that all of the utilities are underground.  With the amount of steel in this home running the utilities such as plumbing and electrical would be difficult because one would have to torch through beams and columns.  In cooperation with our excavation contractor, plumbing and electrical contractors, Crestwood designed the subslab utilities schematic.  The various pipes you see surfacing from the ground/concrete are gas lines, electric lines, wastewater lines, rain gutter lines, and radiant heating supply lines.  As these lines are ran the miniature excavator comes behind and backfills them to prepare for the grade for compaction, subslab insulation, and hydronic tubing.  The large white pipes with perforations are for subslab drainage.
