This post contains pictures for the week ending July 7, 2014.  These photos depict the forming of the stemwalls, the concrete structure upon which the walls are built. Vertical and angled stakes are precisely placed to hold the forms perfectly square and level according to the plans.  Steel Rebar is placed in the footing holes and trenches in specified locations to give the concrete bearing strength.  The concrete contractor uses a builders level or transit to shoot the precise elevation for the formboards so the concrete can be placed perfectly.
